For all our friends, noted on 2/9/15 :
So now this epic January 2015 has gone down in history. A winter month with not a single windless day – we’ve never seen that before. At least not in the 33 years that we have been here in El Médano.  So we will chronicle it in our records and will continue dreaming that it wasn’t the last time…
The 64 planing wind days since the beginning of December are thereby interrupted. We will keep them in our memories, despite the temperatures being somewhat hard to get used to. Nevertheless it looks like we have reached the bottom of the trough; otherwise we would have to start thinking about a heater in the office ;)
We didn’t even mind that little bit of rain on Sunday. To be fair we came of pretty well considering the forecast. And the calculations for the coming weeks don’t look too pitiful. We wholeheartedly wish our Carnival fans that they can carry out their festivities in the dry. In the worst case you can just go dressed as a windsurfer/kitesurfer and wear your wetsuit, just in case it does rain…
