So I guess it is official: the waiting period has come to an end. Since the light at the end of the tunnel has been moving further into the future over the last few weeks we can consider this Thursday as a real start of the next wind period. The forecast is even confirmed by the regional model WRF for this time frame (72 hours max) so there should no longer be many doubts left.

Apart from that the 6 o’clock calculations provide us with a rare phenomenon: all eleven results for each hour of the day on the muchoviento.net forecasts says 21 knots – 39 km/h – 10,8 m/s from north east (between 48º and 51º) – like in a air flow lab!! Of course we are curious to see if the wind gods are also going to play along to that. We will find out if there are really not going to be any sail changes or kite changes necessary throughout the day. Let us keep an eye on Rudi’s anemometer 🙂
