This unusual spring beginning must have let down a lot of the Canary Island fans. At least those who decided to come here seeking wind.
For weeks a much too long calmness has held on, and the most recent forecasts also promised rain. This time the high pressure area that normally stays around the Azores has been brave enough to move right up to the north. Now we have to deal with the consequences.
Also the “light at the end of the tunnel” which moved into the long term period has completely vanished by now. It seems like the prediction of a relatively reliable forecast will keep on being an illusion. The weather forecast is simply too complex. And always ready for new surprises…
