Since Wednesday the forecast had some rain ready even for our little corner of the island. Sometimes more, sometimes a little less, for overnight and for daytime. Yet nothing has reached us yet. Apparently the computers are unable to coup with the current situation. The doubts became even stronger as we received eighteen knots, or even more, when the forecast had calculated only eleven as a maximum.
Saturday then, a strong stormy rainfall. Yet brief. Funny thing about this was that we had happily expected the first day with twelve hours of uninterrupted sunshine. Sunrise at 7:14am and sunset at 7:14pm. The time has come that we have to start letting our doors open half an hour longer. What we can’t assure is what wind we will be expecting until the end of the month so we can de-lightly practise our favourite activities in the bay. The forecasts fall out completely sometimes or choose showing us information that doesn’t quite accord to reality. We can’t rely on anything at the moment. We are asked to take the situation just as a few years ago when we didn’t have the modern computer forecasts yet…
