Lulls

This is what Stand Up Paddle days feel like! We had almost forgotten the sensation already. For weeks, no, months the wind gods have been providing us with enough air to keep up flying over the water with sails and kites. Since the end of May El Médano has shown itself from its best side: www.surfcenter.el-medano.com/booked/3_windgrafik.htm.
So for now we have a short break. Maybe it has something to do with the high pressure area over Scandinavia. These are the types of questions we are asked to resolve on a nealy day to day basis even thoguh we hardly ever have reliable answers. We have had similar pressure constellations in the north in the past and had great wind…
Now we are even getting the odd “W” that is pretty much disliked here. Sure, it is still way too far in the future to say anything for certain but we are counting on it since the first few “W”s started to appear on the 28th of September in the long term forecasts.
