Unbeleivable: ever since the 14th of August we have not had a single windless day! That is very unusual so far into the end of the summer season. All the better for the few water sports enthusiasts who are able to continue plaining all around the bay but are still able to enjoy all the space on the beach.
On top of that the “romeria” offered us a fun cultural experience and a pleasant change in the evening program. Admittedly, the volume of the event was hard to get used to. If you were trying to sleep anywhere near the plaza you were forced to use earplugs, unless of course you decided to join in the fun until half past four in the morning. With so many windy days you can take one morning off to recover from the hangover.
The wind is now supposed to keep going for another day (half day?). With this we have nearly reached the end of the month and can again write another record in our journals.
