April has now gone and luckily it brought us extremely good wind. In our last statement we had hoped for wind for more than three quarters of the month but in the end we had wind for more than four fifths. We enjoyed 5 Beaufort most days, even on days when the water was completely flat.The reason for the flat water was because the wind was from the west, bringing a little rain but fortunately this was during the night. Our statistics table has already been updated.
By the end of the month “our” wind returned making the few watersportmen happy.
The weather prediction for the coming month of May is pretty indecisive, at least for those who are trying to plan ahead (especially as the “prediction” is only for 16 days in advance).Apart from this not many are interested in May which is the “low season” for tourists. So for the few we are extremely flexible.
