It looks like the wait is over. We somehow managed to get through this loooong month of low wind, interrupted with a couple of west wind freestyle/race sessions. At least the conditions were absolutely perfect for our windsurfing beginners: light winds simply don’t punnish the small mistakes so voilently.
October was also a way of making up the spectacular September. Something quite out of the ordinary. As of the second week of November it looks like the prolongued north-east winds can continue. Provided of course that the computer models don’t change their minds after promising so much in the last four days.
In our 30 year long experience tells us that when there are several consecutive days with the same colour in our wind forecast chronicles it is unlikely to let us down when the day finally arrives. At the moment it is very clear (you can check it out by simply clicking the link below). So we will trust the reliability of the weather forecast model and are looking forward to the beginning of the second version of the summer.
