Kitesurf - Lesson
We offer daily kitesurfing lessons for all skill levels, wind and wave conditions permitting, to ensure the safety of our guests at all times.
Kitesurfing has also become the most popular water sport in El Médano and the fascination of gliding or hovering over the water with a kite and board is attracting more and more people.
In the meantime, the technical standard of the kites has increased and with it the quality of the lessons. This makes it possible to achieve learning success in a relatively short time. The year-round perfect climatic conditions on Tenerife make this even easier.

Once El Médano, always El Médano!
This is what many of our visitors say after experiencing the atmosphere at this unique location.
The beach called Playa Leocadio Machado is right in front of our Kite-School.
Here we teach you the basics you need to control the kite. Our instructors use special teaching methods so that you can handle the equipment without endangering yourself or others.
We use helmets with walkie-talkie receivers for lessons in the water.
Our instructors are always available for you and will help you to get on the board and kite your first metres in the shortest possible time.

After the first course you will be good enough to control a kite on any beach in the world!
Lessons for advanced drivers
The wind blows diagonally onshore and with little shorebreak we offer practical lessons for more advanced riders. You can learn or improve your freeride, wakestyle, kiteloops and waveriding or even foil kitesurfing.
Kitesurfing lesson contents
3 hours Theory, exercises on the beach, launching and landing the kite, one-handed kite control.
3 hours Practical training in the water, kite launching, water start, walki-talki assisted lessons.
3 hours Train and analyse advanced processes.

Individual lessons - 3 hour course

The course can be divided into two units of 1.5 hours each, but is usually held in one go as the students share the material.

– Training by a licensed kite instructor
– Neoprene suit, impact protection waistcoat on request
– Helmet with walkie-talkie for direct instructions on the water

Kitesurf - Rental
- From 9.30 to 18:00 in winter
- From 9:30 to 19:00 in summer (when the clocks are changed)
- Included in the price to store personal belongings and valuables.
