And again it all worked out. The competitors had great conditions and the organisers were able to carry out all of the heats without a hitch.
Glancing at this coming week we can’t avoid letting go a sigh of relief. We were quite lucky! Just as the competition ends the winds bids us farewell. The streak of dream conditions seem to be over for now.
Maybe we will get the odd day for kites or light wind kit but it looks like our fun with the agile sails is put on hold for the time being. However, we can’t and won’t complain: since the middle of May we have only had five non-consecutive no-wind days.
One more thing: the last new moon high tide has finally managed to fill the barranco in front of our centre. We thought that it would happen in July but it required the south swell to give the extra push over the mound. So for a little diversity here is a diferent view of our doorstep…
