At the SURF CENTER we log wind strenght and direction every morning and afternoon since 1987. The numbers below are the averages of daily wind speeds. Our statistics are based on the Beaufort scale. (Conversion table for Beaufort scale) If a certain wind speed continued to blow for more than one hour, we log it. The percentages are based on all months since 1987. Perentage values show the weakest month and the strongest month throughout these years.
