We seemed to have established a new record. Since the endings of May there had only been three days in which the wind freaks haven’t been satisfied. And it seemed to be going on like this until entering autumn.

Now, “our” force from the Azores has moved northeast and has left the Canaries with weak breezes sadly behind. We can’t even remember the last time we had to deal with a situation like this. Even the predicted raindrops have reached us.

We’ll take it easy. 126 of the 130 days from our last no-wind period  was blessed with planning wind here on the south of the island. In very rare occasions the very small sails were taken on the water. Less than 15% of the time the sun was hidden behind the clouds. What else can we wish for?
